Softwarica College Tour Experience

The First Impression

 

Our Nist School had taken us to the Softwarica college located at Mahakavi Marg, Dilli Bazaar, Madhyamanchal 44600. We were immediately enlightened by the beautiful infrastructure and the environment present inside the building. We were seated in an air conditioned room where the brilliant teachers taught us various important computer related questions.

The Teaching

The teachings were mainly focused onto the theme of artificial intelligent and machine learning. First of all we were actually been given an gift if we managed to answer the questions correctly .The questions went from easy ones like what is the meaning of artificial intelligence and differences between artificial intelligence and machine learning to harder ones like naming all the Digi books name and some fun facts like the full form of NCC.

Visiting

In the Softwarica there was another building which had many robots. We were separated into groups of 8 with a guide tour to help us surf through the projects .We were first shown the cybersecurity and how to prevent some cyber crime easily with simple things like wire management then we saw the robots with an AI who can understand both Nepali and English and we have to ask it a question in a particular language. Even though the AI wasn't particularly good at telling everything it was good at story making while it was bad at jokes. We saw a spider bot which could click photos when detected from all the angles . We also saw an blocks managing robot which would put the blocks in certain place and manage them.

Conclusion

 

At last, the Softwarica College exceptionally gave us another way to look onto the concept and the theme of artificial intelligence and robots. The college shook us with the brilliance at the environment and infrastructure and enlightened us with their creative way to teach us about many new things like cybersecurity by protecting and managing our cables. The presenters who presented the robots did an excellent job at showing the functionality of their main project with our honored tour guide to help us figure out our way in the building.
